It is stated, one day while the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was sitting in the Masjid of Al - Madinah, Jibrael (as) came and said that ' Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has send down Dua - e Jameela. Hazrat.Jibrael alayhis 'salamrevealed many things about this dua, here are some:

"Whosoever recites this Dua, their sins will be forgiven and the pains will be eliminated at the time of death by the Palm of Almighty; they'll be safe from every magic, befriend enemies, his/her face on Doom's Day will be bright like the moon. Recite dua upon breaking fast on the 15th Ramadaan for boundless credits. Whosoever recites it after Fajr prayer gets credit of 300 pilgrimages equal to that of Hazrat Adam alayhis 'salam after Zhor prayer gets credit of 500 Pilgrimages equal to that of Hazrat Ibrahim alayhis 'salam after Asr prayer gets credit of 100 Pilgrimages equal to that of Hazrat Yunus alayhis 'salam after Ishai prayer gets credit of 1 000 Pilgrimages equal to that of Hazrat Musa alayhis 'salam and after Tahajjud prayer gets credit of 100 000 Pilgrimages equal to that of The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam."

RECITING DUA-E-JAMEELA : SAWAAB OF 100,000 HAJJ

A person who recites Dua-e-Jameela after Tahajjud prayers, then Allah Ta 'ala will give him reward equivalent to Hazrat Mohammad (salllallaho alaihi wasallam) performing 100,000 Hajj, and in addition the reward for reciting the Qur'an 1000 times, releasing 1,000 slaves and feeding 1,000 hungry and thirsty people. There is lesser but substantial reward for reciting this Dua after Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha prayers. It must be remembered the reward would be of Maqbool Hajj, as the reward is of Hajj performed by the Prophet (sallallaho alaihi wasallam) and secondly, reciting this Dua in Ramadhan multiplies the reward many times. This Dua is found in most Panj Surahs.

BENEFITS OF DUA-E-Jameelah

IT IS STATED That one day while the Beloved Blessed Holy Prophet Muhammed (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) was sitting in the mosque of Al Madinah, Hazrat Jibrael came and said that 'The Almighty Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) quoth Salaam and saith that the Dua-E-Jameelah is being sent for thine Followers', the Beloved Blessed Holy Prophet Muhammed (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) 'How much is the credit for it?' Hazrat Jibrael said 'Whosoever recites it or keep it with him, his sins, may it be like the foams of river or like the sand of the desert or equal to leaves of trees, shall be forgiven and at the time of death the pains shall be eliminated by the Palm of the Almighty. And an Angel would protect him in the grave till the Dooms day. And the One who recites it at the time of breaking the fast on the 15th Ramadan and it does not know how to recite but keeps it in his hand and recites (with abueation) Darood Sharif 11 times, gets boundless Credits and the Almighty Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) will fulfill whatever his need be.
If recites it once in a life time, On Dooms Day, will cross Pur Sirat without diffuculty and enter the paradise. Then Hazrat Jibrael Said ' Oh Muhammed (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) warn your followers against the Fire of Hell. If I state the full greatness of this prayer, masses shall give up all prayers and observance of fast, It is sufficient to say that whatsoever recites this prayer or keeps it with him will be safe from every magic, get enemies befriended. And whatsoever recites it or keeps it with him, his face on the Dooms day will be bright like the moon; and the atonement of missing the prayers will be forgiven; and while in Journey will not feel lazy in saying the prayers;and when he shall rise from his grave on the Dooms day people will say 'which messenger of God is he?, then the Almighty Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) will reply 'He is not a messenger but one who recited Dua-E-Jameelah with earnestness, that is why this gift and survey is for him. And Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala), the Most Merciful shall grant him the entry into Heaven on the Day of Judgement.
